For grinding with straight grinders or flexible shafts, we recommend to use LUKAS abrasive bands or sleeves with the matching mandrels or rubber carriers. Our cylindrical or conical abrasive bands or sleeves feature different grain types, such as diamond, zirconia aluminium oxide with top size coating, ceramics, regular aluminium oxide or zirconia aluminium oxide. This enables processing of a variety of materials including titanium and tungsten carbide. LUKAS mandrels or rubber carriers have been specially designed for use with LUKAS abrasive bands or sleeves. Slots in our mandrels or rubber carriers allow the bands or sleeves to be changed without the need for a tool and provide safe clamping as speed increases.
